"A new Hand Touches the Beacon."

    • This is a famous line from a Video Game.
    • First. Let me give the context:
      • The line comes from the video game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"
      • This game has quests.
      • "A new hand touches the beacon" is the first line of dialogue that opens when a player happens upon a key item.
      • This quest, once triggered, cannot be abandoned.
    • As such, being an entrepreneur is a quest that will eventually happen to anyone privileged and fortunate enough to happen upon it.
    • This is going to be the hardest subject. My instructor warned.
    • Fortunately, for me, I was not the only one whose hand has touched the beacon.
      • Come four others, for we are five. Namely;
        • Ethan H. Campomanes(me)
        • Aaron Clyde Cervantes,
        • Karen Luz Halupit,
        • April Ann Babiera, and
        • Guilmarc Baculao,
      • We merry bunch be chum buddies on this quest to become entrepreneurs.
      • May every deity bless us.

    • The first thing that we did like sane people, was go around the market asking business owners what their problems were:

    • The people over at the printing services have demand related problems. Usually happening around the midterms and the finals, Lots of people needing printers for their theses. Perhaps a sort of "food panda for printing" app?
The good people at the food stalls had garbage problems. What can we do to help with the garbage problem at the market?
The store right here is one of those happier ones that have all their bases covered.
Ma'am right here wants only simple things. Like better inventory organization. Maybe it would keep those kids from going over the papers on display to make a mess of things. She can't sell bad paper.

Pater is a very popular food item in the market. Cheap to make, cheap to buy. Profitable for the seller, valuable to the student on a budget.
(Maybe they have problems in keeping track of daily profits and expenses? Most of the stalls seem comfortable in relying on a notebook for such affairs. I wonder if it's really that effective, or are there things that we can improve here?)

    • We had a good time along the way, we definitely found out that people had differing problems.
